ROBOTICS FIRST
FIRST Robotics competitions set unique challenges each year that include specific courses and tasks for team-built, custom robots. Teams of high school students and mentors work during a 6-week period to build their robot that weighs up to 125 pounds. Robots complete tasks such as scoring balls into goals, hanging on bars, placing objects in specific locations, and balancing robots on field elements.

WHAT WE DO
Aside from having a great time and making life-long friends...
We build a robot FROM SCRATCH: not just any robot, a completely custom machine that we create by deciding on the best strategy for the game revealed each year. We conceptualize, design, and plan it. We also create custom parts using machining tools & 3D printers to build it, and then we program it. We don't stop there. We also create a mock-up of the competition field: perfect it, drive it and work to win it!
